Background
Each year MAC holds 3 meetings: the Whole Cat Workshop, All About Dogs and Hot Topics. Each meeting has targeted focus and a full day agenda geared at informing our constituents about timely and relevant topics in animal welfare in Massachusetts, networking and resource sharing and encouraging animal welfare professionals and community activists alike to broaden their perspectives. Our popular meetings are attended by 100-130 guests from across the state, and some from other parts of New England.
MAC’s program committee is working hard to bring in some fabulous speakers to continue to provide MAC members and guests the cutting-edge programs in animal welfare that MAC has been known for over the past 23 years.
MAC’s meetings are held at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in North Grafton, Massachusetts. The full day agendas normally offer a headline speaker, a panel discussion and a networking lunch hour featuring a catered vegetarian meal.
The benefits of sponsoring MAC meetings:
People who work for animal shelters, rescue organizations, and animal control officers come to MAC meetings. Others who attend are legislators, social workers, animal behaviorists, and other professionals who are focused on companion animals. We promote our meetings via email and Facebook to “animal people”. Each time we send a meeting notice out we currently reach 4000 subscribed contacts and our open rate is generally around 47%. Our Facebook posts reach over 5300 people, who in turn “share” with their contacts. Additionally, there can be 100 or more attendees at a given meeting. Your company or organization would have exposure to these people in an in-person setting and the lunch break would provide opportunities for one-on-one conversations with possible clients.
MAC is committed to strengthening the brand identity and community relations of our corporate partners and will work closely with you to develop a sponsorship that meets the social, economic and charitable goals of your organization.
